This involves exposing part of the body to high-frequency sound waves to produce pictures of the inside of the body. Ultrasound exams do not use ionizing radiation (as used in x-rays). Ultrasound images are captured in real-time and can show the structure and movement of the body’s internal organs, as well as blood flowing through blood vessels. At Nidaan Diagnostic Centre a very high resolution computerized Sonography system is being used.

Nidaan Diagnostic Centre has a very high end ultrasound machine for real time imaging in perpendicular planes as well as 3D imaging. Apart from the emotional value of bonding with the unborn child; the 4-D Ultrasound has great diagnostic utility especially in the field of early detection of congenital anomalies. 3D helps in differentiation of bicornuate uterus from septate uterus.

Despite the advent of 3D & 4D Ultrasound, the 2-D ultrasound still remains the gold standard for all kinds of obstetrical examinations. High resolution TV scanning and follicular monitoring is available. Level-I and Level-II scans for detection of fetal anomalies is done. Fetal echocardiography for anomalies of fetal heart is done.
We are registered under PCPNDT Act. We do not scan for pregnancy sex detection.
Scan results provided within half an hour after the USG procedure on request.
